A native of Northern California, Tamara was raised to become a painter, her early influences include art, healing and nature. In San Francisco1988, while exploring her own healing through touch and movement, she became a Chiropractic Assistant to Dance Medicine Specialist John DeRoy, D.C., founder of White Cloud West, the Bay Area's premier Gyrotonic Center. She then became a student of  GYROTONIC EXPANSION SYSTEM® innovator Juliu Horvath in 1990, who made her a Master Trainer in 2001. Today she conducts GYROTONIC® and GYROKINESIS® teacher trainings. An avid gardener, her home is the Island of Hawaii.
